Creating spaces where women can truly connect, grow, and thrive is my passion. The Good Girlfriends Network is more than a community – it's a movement."

KIOLA GEORGE, FOUNDER

Our Story

The Good Girlfriends Network was founded by Kiola George in July 2019 with a vision to build a supportive and empowering community for women. Kiola, a dynamic event producer, recognized the need for genuine connections and meaningful support among women from diverse backgrounds. She began this journey with a simple yet powerful idea: to create enriching experiences that blend professional networking with personal growth.

Starting with a picnic in Brooklyn that attracted 75 women from across NYC, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Connecticut, the network quickly grew. Within a month, Kiola hosted a mixer - Pull Up & Pour Up DC, at a black-owned cafe, welcoming 150 women to discuss balancing personal and professional lives. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Kiola's commitment to fostering real-life connections and empowering women remained steadfast.
